“Being exposed to hyper realism, abstract expressionism, 3D sculpture and design through the years by both family and friends, I have seen how the only rule in art is to break the mold. It’s what has influenced my mixing of medias and created my style today. It’s also what has given me the freedom to change my style as I change. Not box myself into one medium or corner of the art world. But no matter the change, there will always be the unifying theme that Fine Art Can Be Fun Art.”

Turner Hull is a contemporary and custom artist in her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. Her artistry developed over her young life due to the influence and artistic nurture of many family members who enjoyed similar talents. Specifically, her two grandmothers and aunt attributed to her passion for drawing and painting. Upon graduating from the University of Mississippi, she tumbled into custom work capturing the essence of photographs through a watercolor medium. It became a passion to recreate the special moments captured and tell their story through art. Her work has since transcended from specifically literal interpretations of the world around her to capturing essence and spirit through abstract and color work. Although now consisting of a wide range from portrait realism to abstract expressionism, all exhibit a lively and colorful flair unique to Turner Hull Art. She finds constant inspiration by people and their stories, while also drawing a youthful creativity from the many places she has called home.
